about

First released in 2008, here is the original description of the album:

Three years in the making since the release of their critically acclaimed debut full length "Erase All Name and Likeness", Transistor Transistor have returned with a crushing yet articulate new album in "Ruined Lives." After nearly two years on the road sharing the stage with bands such as Circle Takes the Square, The Fall of Troy and Fear Before the March of Flames, the band took a much needed break and began crafting new songs and fine tuning their brand of damaged noise rock. Occasionally leaving the practice space to road test new material along bands such as Doomriders, Disfear, and Converge; Transistor Transistor has finally unleashed "Ruined Lives" upon the world.

Transistor Transistor returned to Godcity Studios to record "Ruined Lives" with Kurt Ballou who captured all the desperation, volume and misanthropy in 11 dark winter days of January. The album was mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side and all photography was done by the Mikael Kennedy.
