The sole release from Providence, Rhode Island power trio Idolands. Featuring Daughters bassist Samuel Walker, Idolands also tread a technically proficient but very different path, with a blistering rhythm section accompanied by a heavy emphasis on melody and vocal harmonies.

This surprisingly complex four-track EP falls somewhere in between the catchy chaos of Minus The Bear, thundering blitzkrieg of Daughters, simple effectiveness of Blink-182, and hypnotic harmonies of the Beach Boys.
