First released in 2002, here is the original description of this collection:

This CD compiles the earliest output of City of Caterpillar: The Demo (which includes their track from the split with System 2600) and a live set recorded on WNYU (which includes tracks that were released as a tour 7") onto one handy piece of aluminum. This is a rawer and younger City of Caterpillar than appears on their LP but these songs are too good to let go out of print. 3 of these songs do not appear anywhere else.

See where it all started. While they've grown in leaps and bounds since these songs were recorded, these songs aren't any less powerful than their present material.
